Baloch VS Pathan
By chance i got into this afghan site. Read these posts 1, 2 where this totally immature baloch Vs Pashtoon thing is going on.

This is really amazing. Two nations, which are almost natural allies, can't see eye to eye. Our enemies are same. Our forefathers have been allies (at times enemies too). We have been living together on these lands for thousand of years. Our cultures have similarities. There were pashtoon tribes which are Baloch now, and vice versa. But we can't tolerate each other???

Just imagine for an instance that baloch and Pashtoon stand up for each other!! No punjabi or farsi will ever be able to play with our destinies again. But alas, this seems like only wishful thinking. Emerging from our mutual insecurities and mistrust seems like such a big ask.

Maa Chukkein Balochaani
We are the sons of the Baloch,
Free and sovereign,
Masters of our own destiny;

The earth panics from our wrath,
Castles shake in fear,
We are tigers,
Fearless defenders (of those who seek our help);

We are an encouragement to our fathers,
The pride and honour of our mothers and sisters,
Support to our brothers;

Our blood one day,
will be required by our nation,
We will prove true to the lullabies given by mothers;

We have sucked the milk of honour,
In the shadow of swords,
Red blood in our eyes shows descent from martyrs;

We are defenders of the helpless, and the poor,
We have destroyed the castle of terror,
the days of oppression have gone forever.

Bugti's last stand
So, Nawab Bugti is still 'negotiating'.

He should know that this is his last chance to redeem himself. If he sells the Baloch out this time, he does not have any reason to live. He should be tolerated as long as he is needed, and disposed off immediately after use.

But if he fights, all his sin, of past and future, are forgiven.

Keeping the dream alive
Who is this Hassan Mujtaba?

This is his second article on BBC Urdu site( first one is here) , which has strenghthened my pride in being a Baloch.

He knows us. He beleives in us fighting for a cause, and not as agents of whatever country. He writes with passion. He quotes Habib Jalib. He writes anecdotes about 70s.

I thank you Mr. Mujtaba on behalf of my poor and beleaguered nation.

Sardar Mengal and a free Balochistan
Hamid Mir, in his column in daily Jang a few days ago, said that Sardar Mengal does not beleive in a free Balochistan. He feels that it will be sandwiched between hostile countries of Iran and Pakistan, and will be inviable.

What a pity, Mengal sahib. So, we are worse than the lowest people in the world? We are not 'good' enough to rule ourselves? Looks like the years in London have managed to get some imperial air implanted in our sardar Mengal. Remember? The 'native' are not capable to rule themselves?

Sardar Mengal was never very high on my list of the people i respect. He just managed to drop a few positions on that list.

To the arms

Well, finally SAT reports that army operation has been started in Sui, also Paki Army came out clear that they will be building the cantonments.

Sardars and Nawabs sahibans, what are you waiting for?

Stand up, and be counted.

BLA Representatives
Today's bomb blast in the second floor of Balochistan secretariat brought in a new nom de guerre;

"Major Naukaf"

Earlier, we had Mir Azad baloch, and Col. Doda Khan Baloch usually speaking on belhaf of BLA.
i think it is time that we get some picture, videos, etc of BLA operations.

BLA, show us our heroes.

Who is Who in Balochistan
They say that everybody has got a price. In Balochistan, many wear their price tags proudly. I would like to present the items on sale in Balochistan, waiting for potential buyers.

Items already bought and sold
This list includes;

Jam Yousuf (Chief Minister)
Yar Mohammad Rind (Federal Minister)
Ehsan shah (provincial minister)
Shoaib Nausherwani (provincial minister)
Mohammad Ali Rind (father of a provincial minister)
Zubaida Jalal (Federal minister)

For this group, the threat of getting NABed, a ministerial post, the lure of plunder potential, and ISI sponsorship did the job. They have totally associated their futures with ISI camp. They already have let go of any pretensions of representing anybody. My preferred mode for executing them will be 'letting wild dogs do their thing on these guys'.

Items ready to be bought and sold
This list includes;

Dr. hayee
Hasil Bizenjo
Akram Dashti
Dr. Malik
Zehari bros

These guys are there for the taking, if the price is right. Last time, circumstances and situations did not allow them to be part of any deal. They are waiting for those circumstances to change. This group, at least, pretends to be sincere, and speaks the language of the people. But they will bow whichever way they find the wind stronger.

the expensive items on the shelf

This is the sardar troika. Sardar Marri, Mengal, and Bugti. Money, and armed tribesmen give them enough leverage to do hard bargaining with the government. Mengal wants constitutional amendments, Marri wants autonomy, Bugti wants gas royalties.

For the first two groups, Pakistan has used carrots, and threatening the third group with sticks.

There are a few non-entities like Sherjan baloch, Mohim Khan, Dr. Yaseen, etc. but they are too insignificant in the scheme of things.

All these people are supposed to be our leaders.

Where will they lead us to??

The last battle
Sardar Mengal said; if it happens , it will be our last battle.

Let it be.

lets fight our last battle for recognition as a nation, or lets all become Jams, and Jamalis.

If we lose this fight and still survive, we should stop calling ourselves Baloch, and we should drop all pretensions of dignity, honour, and pride.

But this should be it. Not small battles every decade.

This fight should be the end of either us or our slavery.

Balochistan and Iran
So, Pakistan wants to make Balochistan a foreign-inspired issue.

First Paki diplomats says that Iran is providing Baloch with weapons and logistics.

Then the foreign ministrydenies it.

Hopefully, Iran has got the message Pakistan wanted to send. The message, to me, sounds like; Get involved. These Baloch are as bad for you, too.

Saying Iran is helping baloch to fight is like saying India is helping Kashmiris to fight. Can this ever be true? Don't they actually know that we will be fighting Iran, too?

This shows that the Paki guys have no clue when it comes to Baloch affairs. Don't they know that Baloch Vs Gajar thing has been going on for centuries, not like Baloch vs Punjab which is only a few decades old. Baloch have been fighting these persians since the times of Nausherwan. and now, Iran will help Baloch?

Nah, Iran would be most interested in joining Pakistan to kill Baloch from both sides of the border.

This Balochistan - Iran connection is clearly from a coloured page of Paki fantasies.

The Coming storms
I have strengthened my belief that the military operation in balochistan might be limited, and specific. But, it will be very high on spy lane.

I think in the coming weeks and months the government;

- will bring out the dissidents in Bugti/ Marri areas
- will buy smaller nawabs, and sardars for roylaties, and commissions in return of loyalty.
- will activate the 'pashtoon card' i.e. threatening Baloch that Pathans can be used against them.
- will ignite baloch /brohi divisons.
- will assassinate smaller student leaders.
- the paki media will be brining out how bad sadars are, the foolish baloch customs, the un-islamic baloch character, etc.

It shouldn't take much time. Hopefully, in a few weeks, we will be hearing of royalties paid to sardars, the job-ratio and water-distribution ratio among provinces and so on.

Fasten your seatbelts.

Balochistan in explosion mode
Here is an article by Cecil victor about the Balochistan situtaion.

The first line of the article got me:

"An attack with 200 rockets on a single installation in a single day can happen only in a state of total anarchy or it may mean the harbinger of a large scale civil war."

Yes, 200 rockets mean we are dead serious this time. It also means that we can fight. We could have destroyed this whole gas plant thing, but clearly we didn't.

B. Raman and Balochistan
I think this Raman guy is very well connected. He has written about Balochistan on many occasions. A google search will get you all the articles that he has written about Balochistan so far.

He knows stuff about Baloch/ Balochistan that we natives think that only we know.

Here is a link to a long article at rediff.com about Balochistan situation.

Solving the Baloch problem
Daily Jang says that soon Musharraf & Co. is going to meet Baloch sardars to solve the 'Baloch problem'.

Can we ever be more insulted? what are we? imbeciles? Musharraf will solve our 'problem' by negotiating with 160 'sardars'? What do these pakis think of themselves?

No negotiations please.

and what exactly is this problem that will be negotiated? independence? autonomy? constituional ammendments? more tubewells? more jobs?

Hopefully, BLA is not so stupid, to beleive whatever comes out of Paki mouths.

Here is an article supposedly from Pakistani think tank at The South Asia Tribune. When i read this for the first time, my first reaction was; 'HOLY SH'T" . It is so full of rubbish that i had to read it again to belive it.

I am giving the link here.

Let me summarize it for you.

The root of all evil this time is: guess it, no, its not America the Satan, nah, it isn't even India, it is BRITAIN.

This is supposed to be a 'A Larger Strategic View of the Balochistan Scenarios'. God help such Paki think tanks.

Top Ten Demands Made By Balochi Nationalists
'The Top Ten' is a regular column in the prestigious The Friday Times of Pakistan. I owe more to the writers at TFT than to most of my university teachers.

Ayeda Naqvi wrote on 21st January:

Top Ten Demands
Made By Balochi Nationalists

By Ayeda

10. Move national capital to Gwadar
9. Zafarullah Jamali to be PM again
8. Sajji to be made national dish
7. Nawab Bugti to be President for Life
6. Ban on all languages except Balochi
5. Five lakhs reward for each honour killing
4. Death penalty for killing houbara bustards
3. Death penalty for educating women
2. Death penalty for using Sui gas
1. Death penalty for the Benjamin Sisters

She can normally write humourous peices, but at times she also produces bongers like these. I have been reading her for at least for a few years. She used to be funny, but i don't know why she needed to chose this lane.

Which Baloch has ever heard of the Benjamin Sisters? :D

I am watching Pakistan TV right now, and this Ahmadan Bugti is on the tv, saying Nawab Bugti is evil, army cantonments are good, Russia is paying Baloch to harm Pakistan, this guy has done great developmental works, BLA is there to terrorize people, AlQaeda people from Wana/ Wazirstan are hiding in Balochistan, and so on.

Good going.

UPDATE: 24th Jan

Here is the link to what Mir Ahmadan Bugti said.

Spreading out the fight
Today, there were bombs and rockets attacks in Gawadar, and Naushki.

I think this is a real good policy to let pakistan know that it won't be only Sui, where they will have to fight.

We also just proved that we are living in stone age.

The operation has already started!!
No, I am not talking about the military operation in Sui, that everybody is expecting.

It is the new operation of character assassination of Baloch, Baloch leaders, and our motives.

The Paki 'intellectuals', as if on cue, have started going at it full-throttle. Check these;

A.Q. Hassan in Daily Jang:
Sardars wants a piece in the loot of Gawadar. All this is just for that.

Nazeer Naji in Daily Jang :
Baloch are being recruited for anti-Pakistan purposes. This is a way to put pressure on Musharraf. Baloch are being used by FOREIGN Influences.

He says that in the event, the Sardars are losing their grip on Baloch polity. (He makes it sound like a bad thing)

Gen. Hameed Gul :
It is all from those consulates in Afghanistan (India, Israel, and USA). TO HARM THE ISLAMIC WORLD.

A News piece :
Nawab Bugti gets Rs. 70,000,000 a year from the gas company. He got all the say in employments. So probably, all this is because he wants more??

So, Baloch fight because either a sardar, or a foreign country told them to do so.
Great.
When will these 'intellectuals' start seeing us capable of acting on our own?

Do we really need any military operations, when they have got such tongues?
