The rapist army guy has given himself up, and says he isn't guilty. It took him ten days to do that?????

If you hate Balochistan, or want to, Read Bashir Kakar's article( in Urdu).

Earlier, i wrote that nothing happened in Balochistan today. It seems our guys managed to fire a few rounds of rockets on paramilitary forces, and as usual, nobody died.

Can we really fight?
Things seem to be calm today in Sui, and everywhere else in Balochistan. God knows why. Probably, it is the calm that will bring in the storms. This might be the time, that intelligence agencies try to move in, before the military assualt. I am having second thoughts about the military operation in balochistan, but, i was thinking, can we right handle the coming storm? I mean can we really fight? for how long? with what affect?

I am all for a grand fight. But, is Bugti prepared? will Marri hold his ego, and be able to play a secondary role? can Mengal rein in his compromising, and greedy nature? will the stooges like Dr. Malik, Dr. Hayee, etc, for once, stop being stooges? Does the baloch student still has 'it' in him?

I think a very siginficant role will be played by Mazaris. They are with the government, but will they actually become the Northern Alliance for Paki army?
This elder (not the sardar)of mazari tribe announced a ceasefire. That, isn't bad.
Update: Sherbaz mazari's son has also declared a ceasefire with Bugtis. Sherbaz's brother , Balakh Sher Mazari, is the mazari tribal cheif, and he is a real stooge. lets see if he can also go for a ceasefire, and show some solidarity with fellow Baloch.

We wait to see.

shoaib Nusherwani

You got to watch this guy. He is the interior minister of Balochistan in Pakistan. must be around 25-32 yrs old. got his minsterial jobs, because his father is a absolute crook. is known to brag, and speak his mind without much thought. Once, resigned for a night to blackmail the chief minster. Now, that the things are getting hot in Balochistan, watch to see which way he blows.

BLA
So, finally, our guys are being written about, though not in a very flattering way. Getting named in a terrorism database isn't exactly an achievement. or is it?

First Baloch woman joins Pak Navy
Check This Link

what should we make of this? the first baloch women in navy after 57 years of occupation. So, now the baloch women can also take part in oppresing the fellow baloch.

If interested, this site has an article about Gwadar, and a few pictures of Gwadar.

What if Bugti dies tomorrow?

yes, what will happen if this guy dies tomorrow?

My impression is that the bugti tribe will break down. He never managed to get anybody from his family suffienctly educated or able-minded. The members of his immediate family, if not dead, are brain dead.

i have heard of Branhudag bugti, his nephew, who is slated to be the next cheif. But i have also heard that he is a 'burger' in Karachi, who might be more interesed in the new models of cars, than in baloch politics.

i think that the death of nawab Bugti might prove really beneficial for BLA. Those young bugtis who fight for nawab, might go to BLA, that might open a new chapter in the unity among Bugti and marri tribes.

so, Mr. Bugti, my humble advice to you. Die fighting. why, exactly, do you want to live any more?

The Burning Balochistan
Balochistan, as you might have noticed, is on fire, literally. The gas pipelines, which make the punjabi households able to cook their 'paey' and rich shaikhs of chaniyot able to power their factories, are up in smoke. Looks like Bugti sahib wants to matter, once again. if i remember correctly, it isn't the first time, that he has been threatened. A few years back, we heard almost the same signals coming from that quarters. so what exactly is happening?

We know very well that bugti does not consider this an insurgency. Read his interview in Asia times. He just calls it a local, sad incident, which can be solved by punishing the bad guys. But Pakistani media has been quick to make this another sardari/ baloch mischief. no pints for guessign who is the bad guy for pakistanis.

Bugti says he does not control BLF, BLA guys, so why have they stopped firing at the gas plants? perhaps, they will let them build those plants first, and then destroy those again. Now, that is good. keep it up guys.

Good luck to all who care about Balochistan.

Intro
I have decided to reincarnate my old blog. I used to blog at Gedroshian at Joeuser.com, but couldn't really give it much time. Now, i guess i can. so here it is.

I think a little reintroduction might be needed. I plan to blog on issues relevent to Baloch, and Balochistan. Balochistan means all of the baloch areas of pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. I do not see a peaceful solution of 'Baloch problem'. A war, a good one, is all we need. It won't even matter if we lose.

My posts are general ramblings on things i feel about. You can abuse/ praise me at the link ' comments' at the end of each post.
